“It’s Hard to Beat
the Value of Indaba”
—Wine Spectator
Indaba (pronounced in-dah-bah) is a word that has widespread use throughout South Africa and means to #ComeTogether. Indaba is the Zulu word for “a meeting of the minds.” Embodying that spirit, our range of carefully crafted, quality wines are welcoming, delicious and ideal for sharing.
Sustainably made on South Africa’s sunshine coast, Indaba Wines offer quality for everyday enjoyment.
Drawn from the worlds oldest soils, all grapes are handpicked with meticulous attention to detail. The result is a range of wines that are truly representative of the distinctive and unique climate of the Cape Floral Kingdom.
Our wines are made for every day and suitable for any occasion. Grab a bottle on your way home from work, bring some over to a friend’s house for dinner, twist one open at the beach, or simply enjoy a glass anytime you want to escape to a sunny state of mind.
It starts with the vines
Our winemaking begins in the vineyard with our award winning duo, Bruwer Raats and Clayton Christians. We are committed to sustainable winemaking within the Cape Floral Kingdom.
Empowering teachers, supporting education
Every bottle of Indaba Wine supports the Indaba Foundation, a non-profit which provides early childhood development teacher training. Giving back to the people and place that our wines come from has always been a key part of our philosophy. For over 20 years Indaba has invested in social progress in the Cape Winelands where it is produced.
